An alternative through the registry :

Name : Windows update (1:Disabled / 2:Let me choose / 4:Auto)

RegTree : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

RegKey : SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Auto Update

RegValue : AUOptions
