/TAG option within the OcsLogon as CLI parameter??

Hello,

can I use the '/TAG' (example: '/TAG=MyCompany') within the command line parameters of the deployment tool OcsLogon? (like: '/GPO' or '/DEPLOY=a.b.c.d')

Or is it only possible inside the OCS-Windows-Packager to define a TAG?

On every server pear-XML-SAX is updated:

Installed Packages

I cannot find information about "nightly" mark.

What is the difference between the normal Serveur pour Linux/Unix 2.8,

and the nightly version : Serveur pour Linux/Unix 2.8 (nightly)

What does nightly stand for ?

VMware plugin : You don't have access to this data

Hi,

The VMware plugin is installed correctly and we can see data gathered by agent in the web console (VM List, Datastores, Networks, etc) but i click on the name of a VM in the VM llist or a datastore name in the datastore list, i get the error "You dont have access to this data"

My Agent got an 500 Eroor. How can i fix this?

hi, 

i tried to set up OCS and solved some problems, but i dont get it finaly working. 

Now the problem is, that the Agent cannot connect to the Server. I get an error from the Agent:

2020][error] Cannot establish communication : 500 Internal Server Error

My ocs Server Veriosn is 2.4 (from the repository for CentOs7)

Agent Version is:

ocsinventory-agent --version

Ocsinventory unified agent for UNIX, Linux and MacOSX (2.6.1)

[root@myserver ~]# 

Erlier i tried the latest version from the GitHub Repo, but don't get it working. 

the ocsimport-reports configuration looks like the following. I made an new VHost for ocd, because  when i leave the standard configuration like mydomain.de/ocsiventory i get an 400 (bad request) error.

All my Domains have there own vhost. So that seeems to be the best Solution for me. 

I tried to find a solution for the error, but found nothing.

- From the apache access.log (debug level):

- I enabled the mysql Query Logs. When i run ocsreports-agent i see many SELECT Querys there. DB Connection seems to work. 

- I also checked the Mysql-Credentials in the config files in /etc/httpd/conf.d/

- the Server Version 2.4 semms to be unable to write logs. Permissions for the Log-Dir are set to 777. so i am unable to see if something on the Server Side wents wrong. See also: https://github.com/OCSInventory-NG/OCSInventory-Server/issues/100

The error.log from apache sais nothing to this error. 

I tried to connect from an Agent on the same machine and from a different machine and got the same error

The config is:

Authentification LDAP 2.7

Bonjour,

Je suis en train d'effectuer une migration OCS Inventory entre une debian 6 et un centos 8 en faisant un update de la solution.

J'aurais aimé gérer mes users via une authentification LDAP (Active Directory).

J'ai suivi le wiki mais impossible de le faire fonctionner.

J'ai également fait un tcpdump sur ma VM et lors de mon authentification, aucune trame n'est envoyé a mon serveur LDAP. 

Pour la conf voici ce que j'ai mis :

OCS AGENT 2.8 DOES NOT WORK

I updated my OCS Inventory 2.6 to 2.8 version (Server and Agent).

As 2.6 version works fine, but under 2.8 version the agent doesn't connect with server.

Also, all the workstation with older version not works anymore.

The logs shows:

In the console with version 2.8 the expected by me functionality of archiving computers has been delivered Is there any configuration option to change for dashboard stats to be valid for active computers only?

Running Fedora 33 Server.

ocsreports installed from repo worked well, now I did an upgrade vom fedora 32 to 33 and coming with this I decided to upgrade the ocsreports server, too.

Everthing seems to work fine, but than I startet to roll-out the Windows 2.8.0.0 agents.
These agents are not able to send reports and I don't know why they told me something with a '/deploy/label'

What could cause the issue?

Here my running system:

I updated the OCS server to 2.8. However, it looks like the web interface is still under an old version.

Do you know what to do?
