tab are not showing properly in ocs server .

MyOCS server is working properly but in browser some tab are not displaying properly what could be the issue.

Please let me know the steps to resolve this.

OCS Agent for Mac doesn't send its Inventory to the OCSNG Server

Hello guys,

we implemented an ocs ng Server into our network and distributed the agents on all our mac clients.

From 139 only 129 had send their inventory to the server, and we don't know the cause for it. The configuration on the clients which we had deployed is valid.

Bonjour,

je ne dis pas que le fait de renommer un paquet n'est pas possible, mais plutôt qu'à votre place je ne tenterais pas l'opération.

Le nom de paquet est généré (aléatoirement ?) par le serveur OCS et j'imagine qu'à de nombreux endroits il y est fait référence dans la base de données... Un paquet inexistant ou mal saisi peut avoir des effets inattendus sur le fonctionnement de votre serveur OCS.

Personnellement, ça ne me semble pas raisonnable et il vaut mieux trouver une autre solution, mais je ne suis pas non plus un expert dans ce domaine... D'autres personnes veulent-elles donner leur avis ?

Modifier le registre Windows des clients / Modify Windows clients registry

Bonjour,

connaitriez-vous la syntaxe pour modifier la base de registres de clients Windows avec OCS ? Je pensais faire :

- Un fichier REG avec la clé à ajouter / modifier
- L'encapsuler dans un ZIP
- L'envoyer en tant que paquet OCS
- Lancer ou exécuter le REG par la commande : regedit /s nom_du_fichier.reg

...mais ça ne fonctionne pas (dans un cas le paquet échoue et dans l'autre il réussi mais la modification du registre n'est pas prise en compte)

Hello,

would you know the syntax to change the registry of Windows clients with OCS? I thought to do :

- a REG file with the key to be added / modified
- Encapsulate it in a ZIP
- Send it as a OCS package
- Run or launch REG using the command: regedit /s filename.reg

... but it does not work (in one case the package fails and in the other it succeeds but the modification of the register is not taken into account)

the missing table (it's not missing) is not the issue.
I have updated the serer to 2.3.1 and the issue persists for some machines

I want to install OCS inventory NG on windows machine, however i am not able to get any step by step installation.

Could you please share link or document like OS preparation ( i.e. prerequisite package and software need to install ) and NG server installation steps.

Bonjour à toute l'équipe,

à l'occasion, il pourrait être intéressant de mettre à jour la version demo du serveur OCS Inventory http://demo.ocsinventory-ng.org afin de présenter :

- L'intégration d'un client Windows 10 (il n'y en a pas à ce jour)

- L'intégration d'un plugin (étant donné le nb de posts sur le sujet, par ex. "msofficekey" serait un +)

- La visualisation des logs / statistiques (par ex. nb de connexions par jour)

Tout ceci afin de davantage valoriser les multiples qualités d'OCS Inventory NG et de faciliter le travail des nombreuses personnes (dont je fais partie) qui œuvrent en support sur votre forum technique.

Merci d'avance et encore félicitations pour ce merveilleux projet !

Could you help me in how to implement the office package from the oldest to the most current office 2016 for the new OCS Inventory 2.3.1 package.
The installation was performed as follows:
I performed the procedure by sharing the package "as if it were installed on the server" and from this folder of the (Shared) Server, my script is in the initialization of each OU of my Sectors, thus collecting all the machines of the network within each OR.

I was asking you if you were speaking French because a fairly comprehensive book was written by a Frenchman, but I am not sure that it was translated.

Installing on Linux (Debian for example) remains the best solution... Enjoy !

Exposition of OCS Inventory with GLPI

Hello

I've done my OCS Inventory work fused with GLPI (both can be combined via a plugin). Now I have to make a 20 minute exhibition on this. I do not want to do the typical theoretical exposition, I want it to be more practical and different but I do not have it. I do not want to start talking like a recording.

Any ideas? Suggestions? How can I do my exposure?

Fact: I only have 2 machines registered in the OCS Inventory server

I install OCSNG Windows Server on Windows 7 Ultimate x86 under VirtualBox.
I install OCSNG Windows Agent 2.3.0.0 and run it on the same Virtual PC. I set server URL: http://localhost/ocsinventory
But data does not collect.
Apache error.log contain messages: "File does not exist C:/xampp/htdocs/ocsinventory".
What's wrong? How to fix it?

Network Discovery on UNIX Agent with vlans

Hello,

I've an agent with two phisycal interfaces: em1 and em2.

Interface em2 is configured normally, but em1 is configured with vlan tagging, also:

  • ifcfg-em1 no IP
  • ifcfg-em1.100 IP on vlan100
  • ifcfg-em1.198 IP on vlan 198
  • ifcfg-em1.24 IP on vlan 24

The agent collects informations only for em2. Is there a way to collect the virtual interfaces as well?

Last Github agent on a ContOS7.3(1611)
